HOT DAY AT SANTA MONICA’S TRACK

The Kawasaki PSG-1 Corse team is astonish in front of the disagreeable events happened today at Santa Monica’s track, in Misano Adriatico.

Regis Laconi and Makoto Tamada were ready to give glorious moments to the team and to the many important guests such as: Federico Pedini Amati, President of San Marino, Tonino Macina, Director of the Tourism Department, Antonello Bacciocchi, Minister for the Tourism Department and Amedeo Michelotti, President of the FSM, but the unlucky episodes made them just feel disappointed.

In race 1 both the riders crashed, Regis lost control of the front of the bike while Makoto Tamada, who was willing to take home important points, pushed too much his ZX-10R and went down. The only wounds brought back by the riders are psychological as they really wanted to give great moments to the team in the “Big Home” where Anna Falchi and the comics of Zelig “ Le Barnos” were present too as guests of the white and blue team.

Although the unpleasant vicissitude the riders didn’t loose the determination in race 2 but technical problems made them unable to demonstrate their potentialities.

Now the team wants to leave this bitter day behind and use the Mugello test (2-3 July) to solve the problems found here and go on towards better perspectives.
